Hi,
I have a 2003 Bavaria 38 and am working on installing an auto-helm.
I used my caliper on the rudder post to measure it size, but I'm dubious that the fingers on the caliper were long enough.
It looks to me like the diameter is 2&3/8" or 60.4mm.
Does anyone know the manufacturer's specification for the size of the rudder post? Or, do you have a 2003 38 and can verify or correct my measurement?
