Idea for a great captain foot stool

I have seen other step-like solutions to provide comfort to the captain or to provide height for the captain to stand up and look above the windshield line. Perhaps this is the most ingenious and well thought solutions I have seen. If you have other ideas for such a modification, given that I have n...

Coupe or Fly Bridge for a medium size boat?

If you are like me you study boat designs and options for a long time before deciding on yours. Here what made me pick the R40 coupe version as opposed to the fly bridge version. Perhaps I started somewhat biased because I already had a Regal 35 coupe. However, after coming to see several boats over...

Grill modifications (sail or motor boats)

I am new to Bavaria but I am surprised with the options they pick for grill. So far I have seen grill units without cover and without any provisions to reduce smoke. While smoke is a minor issue for units mounted outside the boat, the lack of cover prevents using them as oven. I have experience with...

Re: Water heater element

I won a Bavaria 38 Cruiser and the electric water heater element just went out. It says it is 800 watts @ 110V. The water heater P/N is 41103518. Anyone have any clues to get a new element for this? Thanks I added the OEM manual for the Sigmar boiler, if this is the unit you have the part number fo...

Re: R40 Coupe

We got the owner's manual and added it here to our library. This may be the only site offering it at this time.

Re: R40 Fly Bridge (@ Miami Boat show)

I took these pictures of the refrigerator during the show. It is built-in the cabinet in the saloon, I liked the fact that the ice area is properly sealed as opposed to just a basic plastic door as in most small refrigerators. The size and containers are also nice points.
